Lyndon Dykes scored twice to help Millwall secure a 4-0 victory over Bolton Wanderers at The Den, marking a strong return to form for the injury-depleted Lions. Millwall entered the match missing 11 first-team players and coming off two heavy defeats, but they delivered a commanding performance to hand Bolton a third consecutive loss.

Bolton started the match on the front foot, but Millwall broke the deadlock before halftime when Caleb Taylor headed in a goal to give the hosts a crucial lead. The second half remained tightly contested until the closing stages when Millwall pulled away.

In the 83rd minute, goalkeeper Jack Bonham misjudged a long pass, allowing Dykes to intercept the ball and calmly convert into an open net. Shortly afterwards, tensions flared as Millwall midfielder Jenson Metcalfe and Bolton captain Josh Sheehan were both shown red cards for violent conduct following an altercation in the 86th minute.

Despite being reduced to 10 men, Millwall continued to press. Dykes doubled his tally two minutes after the sendings-off, further extending the lead. In stoppage time, Camiel Neghli added a fourth goal to seal the emphatic victory.

The result provided a much-needed confidence boost for Millwall amid a challenging period, while Bolton faced their third straight setback without scoring.
