American rapper Macklemore concluded his Free Palestine tour with a final performance at London’s Wembley Arena on Friday night, drawing a crowd of more than 12,500 attendees. The event featured guest appearances from Paloma Faith, Aja Monet, and Vic Mensa.

Macklemore’s tour followed controversy earlier this year when he was removed from Ed Sheeran’s concert lineup in September, reportedly due to his outspoken support for Palestine. During his closing show, the artist addressed the audience, emphasizing the importance of speaking out on political issues. “It was more uncomfortable for me to stay silent than to say something,” he said. Macklemore added that vocalizing his views was not an act of bravery but rather a basic human responsibility, underscoring the shared humanity of those affected in Gaza. “Those children in Gaza are our children. There is no separation,” he stated.

The tour aimed to raise awareness about the situation in Palestine and to express solidarity with Palestinians. It combined music and advocacy, drawing attention to humanitarian concerns in the region. The sold-out Wembley show marked the culmination of this effort, reaffirming Macklemore’s commitment to using his platform for activism.
