The Maharashtra State Board of Technical Education (MSBTE) has entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII) to prepare diploma students for employment opportunities abroad, particularly in Germany and Japan. The agreement, signed in Mumbai, aims to address the increasing demand for skilled technical professionals in these countries.
Through this collaboration, students will receive comprehensive training that goes beyond technical skills to include language proficiency and cultural orientation, enhancing their readiness for international workplaces. The program is designed to equip participants with both the expertise and adaptability required to meet global industry standards.
CII will oversee the implementation and industry coordination of the training initiative via its Centre of Excellence on Skills. This partnership enables the alignment of the curriculum and training modules with current industry needs, ensuring relevance and practical applicability for the students.
MSBTE will contribute by providing essential infrastructure such as classrooms, laboratories, and networking facilities to support the training activities. The cooperation seeks to enhance the global employability of diploma holders from Maharashtra by integrating skill development with international job market demands.
