Among those detained were 109 people wanted in connection with criminal and security investigations, 62 individuals with expired residency permits, and 31 persons who failed to provide proper identification. Additionally, 11 detainees were found in an abnormal condition, while eight individuals were arrested for possession of narcotics and alcoholic beverages. Police also impounded nine vehicles associated with wanted persons. All detainees faced legal proceedings and were referred to the relevant authorities for further action.

In a separate but related initiative, the General Traffic Department at the Ministry of Interior conducted a traffic enforcement campaign resulting in the impoundment of 145 vehicles for various violations. The vehicles were subsequently taken to the designated garage for impounded vehicles. A security source noted that 19 vehicles had wheel clamps applied due to traffic infractions.

Elsewhere, Jahra traffic police apprehended a driver caught operating a vehicle at 180 kilometers per hour on Jahra Road. The driver was detained at the traffic police station, his vehicle was impounded, and appropriate legal measures were initiated.
