A New Hampshire man faces multiple charges after allegedly stealing a fire engine during a house fire at his residence. Authorities said Nestor Roman took control of the fire truck while firefighters were responding to the blaze.

According to police reports, Roman drove the fire engine away from the scene, striking another fire truck and flattening several fire hoses in the process. He narrowly missed three firefighters on foot before losing control and crashing the vehicle onto a nearby lawn. Following the crash, Roman reportedly attempted to enter a neighboring home.
