A 33-year-old Yemeni national has been charged following an incident in Telford, Shropshire, where a bus driver was allegedly assaulted and the vehicle subsequently driven into several parked cars. The events took place on the evening of Friday, September 18, around 6:37 p.m. on Court Street in Madeley, according to West Mercia Police.

Ali Balhad faces multiple charges including aggravated vehicle taking, assault, attempted grievous bodily harm, dangerous driving, robbery, theft, threats to kill, and three counts of criminal damage. The bus driver involved in the incident sustained minor injuries and was treated by paramedics at the scene. Authorities have reported no other injuries resulting from the event.
