Derbyshire Police have identified a man who died during a summer solstice event at a Bronze Age stone circle in the Peak District. Isaac Clare-Watts, 26, from Nottingham, was discovered at the Nine Ladies Stone Circle in Stanton Lees on Monday afternoon. Authorities responded to the scene at approximately 1:38 p.m.

A 41-year-old man has been detained on suspicion of murder in connection with Clare-Watts’s death and remains in police custody. The investigation is ongoing, and officers are seeking information from the public to assist with their inquiries.

Police have specifically requested that anyone who attended the event between June 19 and June 23 or who captured any video footage during that time come forward. The gathering, held at an ancient monument known for its cultural significance, attracted a number of participants marking the summer solstice.
