A Massachusetts man was arrested after being accused of holding a woman captive in an attic of a Malden home for six weeks, during which he allegedly sexually trafficked and assaulted her. Jordende Pierre, 29, faces charges including trafficking a person for sexual servitude, kidnapping, and indecent assault and battery on a person aged 14 or older.

According to U.S. Marshals, the woman was discovered on September 20 by a landlord in the unfinished attic of a multifamily residence. Authorities described her condition as malnourished and naked, found lying on a mat next to a bucket that contained her urine. Middlesex County Assistant District Attorney Jacob McCrindle stated in court that the woman “clearly had not eaten” and was living in “squalor” under those conditions.

Prosecutors said Pierre met the victim through an unspecified dating app and subsequently held her against her will in the home. They allege that Pierre not only sexually assaulted the woman himself but also compelled her to engage in sexual acts with at least six other men who visited the property. Additionally, the woman, who reportedly struggled with substance abuse issues, was allegedly given drugs by Pierre while being confined.

Authorities further contend that Pierre removed the handle from the attic door to prevent the woman’s escape. He was out on bail at the time of the alleged offenses.

Pierre remains in custody as the investigation continues and prosecutors prepare for trial. The case highlights ongoing concerns regarding human trafficking and exploitation within Massachusetts.
