A 51-year-old Connecticut man died after jumping from a balcony during a concert at Madison Square Garden on Saturday night. Paul Kueker, a father of two, was attending a Goose concert in celebration of his 25th wedding anniversary when the incident occurred.

According to law enforcement sources, Kueker was observed appearing intoxicated before he climbed over the approximately 4-foot glass barrier in the 300-level seating section. Video footage reviewed by authorities shows him diving head-first from an estimated height of 150 feet, landing on concertgoers below. The incident took place shortly before 10 p.m.

Witnesses who spoke to police reported that Kueker seemed under the influence at the time of the jump. His wife was reportedly seated three sections away from him in their assigned seats and was not involved in the incident.

Emergency responders arrived on the scene following the fall. Authorities have not released further details about the circumstances leading up to the event or whether any charges will be filed. The investigation into the matter is ongoing.
