A property dispute between two brothers in Jaipur resulted in a fatal stabbing on Wednesday. Authorities arrested a 58-year-old man in connection with the incident, which took place in the Bani Park neighborhood.

According to local police, 65-year-old Shyam Bagani was on his way to a temple near Ram Park when he was confronted by his younger brother, Murli Bagani. The altercation occurred approximately 300 meters from the brothers’ residence in Sindhi Colony, behind Sant Kanwar Ram Park.

Police officials said the conflict began when Murli allegedly attacked Shyam with a stick before drawing a knife and stabbing him. Shyam sustained critical injuries and was transported to SMS Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

The police have launched an investigation into the incident, focusing on the ongoing property dispute as the motive behind the attack. Further details regarding the circumstances leading up to the violence have not been released.
