Andrew Truelove, 41, who was previously placed on probation for a criminal mischief conviction, has been ordered held without bail following allegations that he violated the terms of his probation. The decision was made during a brief hearing Wednesday in Manhattan Supreme Court.

Truelove is accused of unlawfully entering a restricted area at 30 Rockefeller Center on July 16, where he reportedly demanded to know the location of NBC anchor Al Roker. Afterward, he allegedly confronted “Today” show host Craig Melvin and used a racial slur directed at him.

Justice Gregory Carro presided over the hearing and considered arguments that Truelove’s recent arrest breached the conditions imposed during his earlier sentencing, which was handed down just a month prior. With the probation violation confirmed, the court ruled that Truelove would remain in custody at Rikers Island pending further proceedings.
