Nishen Radia has been appointed chief executive officer of Marshall & Stevens, succeeding Mark Santarsiero, who is retiring after more than four decades with the company. Santarsiero, who has served as CEO since 2000, will continue to support the firm as a senior advisor during a transition period through November 2026. Following this, he will formally retire from his executive role and join the board of directors.

Radia brings over 30 years of experience in mergers and acquisitions to his new position. His career includes senior roles at SG Hambros and Merrill Lynch. He also co-founded FocalPoint, a prominent middle-market investment bank, where he served as managing partner for several years. FocalPoint was acquired by B. Riley Financial in 2022, after which Radia took on the role of senior managing director and head of M&A.

Marshall & Stevens is expected to benefit from Radia’s extensive background in financial advisory and investment banking as it navigates its next phase of growth and strategic development. The leadership transition aims to leverage Santarsiero’s institutional knowledge alongside Radia’s industry expertise to maintain the firm’s market position.
