Actor Martin Compton, known for his role in the television series Line Of Duty, is embracing his life in Las Vegas, a city he now considers his second home. Compton, whose wife Tianna was born in Las Vegas, divides his time between the city and his native Scotland, balancing his acting career with family life in the suburbs of Nevada.
In a new Channel 4 series titled *Martin Compton: Living Las Vegas*, set to premiere on September 24 at 10 p.m., the actor explores various facets of the city beyond the typical tourist experience. While he regards his hometown of Greenock, Scotland, as his permanent base, Compton expressed a strong connection to Las Vegas, describing it as a significant and evolving part of his life.
The series offers viewers a glimpse into the city through Compton's personal lens, showcasing both everyday family moments and unique local highlights. During filming, he visits an £18,000-a-night hotel suite featuring a private basketball court, assists the maintenance team at the Bellagio fountains, films a British couple’s wedding at the Little White Wedding Chapel, and tours the Grand Canyon.
Compton also hinted at plans to invite his Line Of Duty co-stars, Adrian Dunbar and Vicky McClure, to visit Las Vegas for a read-through, noting that he has identified several bars and restaurants for them to explore.
Living in the Las Vegas suburbs and embracing the responsibilities of parenthood, Compton described his domestic life as “mundane” yet comforting. His growing attachment to the city suggests a long-term commitment, both personally and professionally, as he continues to navigate opportunities on both sides of the Atlantic.
