A Maryland man has been arrested and charged with multiple acts of vandalism across two suburban neighborhoods, authorities announced. Nghia Le, 50, allegedly caused significant property damage by smashing windows and slashing tires in Greenbelt, a suburb of Washington, D.C.

According to police, Le was captured on surveillance footage wearing a balaclava while throwing rocks and bricks through residential house windows. After each incident, he reportedly walked away from the scene without attempting to hide his actions. The damages resulting from these acts have been estimated to exceed $1,000.

Le was first taken into custody on August 6 in connection with the vandalism but was released before being detained again on August 28. Following a further series of destructive acts in September, Le was rearrested and remains held without bond. He now faces felony charges of malicious destruction of property.

Authorities continue to investigate the extent of the damage and whether Le may be connected to additional incidents in the area. Residents affected by the vandalism are urged to report any relevant information to law enforcement.
