Masked suspects used a vehicle to ram and steal cash machines from a service station in North Yorkshire in the early hours of July 29. According to North Yorkshire Police, four men drove a black Nissan Juke through the concourse of Wetherby Services before forcibly removing a cash payout machine.

Footage captured by a witness, Rupon Miah, at approximately 2 a.m. showed the vehicle reversing through the service station. The video shows masked individuals exiting the car and accessing the boot where the stolen machine was placed. Miah recounted seeing the suspects wearing balaclavas as they carried out the raid, including raiding a slot machine area inside the building.

Police said the suspects attached a chain to an &PLAY cash payout machine and used the vehicle to pull it from its mounting. Following the theft, officers recovered the stolen car, which had been set on fire, in the Leeds area. The stolen machine was reportedly still inside the vehicle at the time of recovery.

North Yorkshire Police appealed for witnesses to come forward, asking anyone with information related to the incident to assist the ongoing investigation. The force confirmed that no arrests had been made so far as inquiries continue.
