A sweatshirt designed by Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, sold out within hours following the announcement of her first joint public engagement in the United Kingdom with Prince Harry since their return to the country. The £80 (approximately $100) garment was promoted on Meghan’s Instagram account alongside a video featuring their children, Archie and Lilibet, in a countryside setting.
The sweatshirt, created in collaboration with Archewell Philanthropies—the couple’s charitable organization—was made to support Moms Offering More, a charity founded by Canadian heiress Kasondra Herrendorf-Cohen. The duchess highlighted the shared parental commitment to securing a “safe and loving future” for children and emphasized the importance of small actions in producing significant results, particularly in the context of International Day of the Girl.
Proceeds from the garment will benefit multiple organizations, with funds split equally between Moms Offering More, the Alliance of Moms—a Los Angeles-based group supporting foster families co-founded by Meghan’s close friend and former model Kelly McKee Zajfen—and the Alliance for Children’s Rights, which advocates for legal protections for children. The latter organization was instrumental in supporting a California law that expanded family members’ authority in cases where parents were detained during the Trump administration’s immigration crackdown.
Herrendorf-Cohen noted that Meghan was closely involved in the development of the sweatshirt, including the selection of its neutral color palette, which she said aligned with the duchess’s aesthetic preferences. The design features the slogan “It’s the Little Things,” a phrase Herrendorf-Cohen’s late father used before his passing in 2014.
In addition to the sweatshirt, Meghan announced that net proceeds from sales of jam and teas under her “As Ever” brand would be donated to a fund created by Malala Yousafzai, the Nobel laureate and education activist. The fund aims to promote education for girls worldwide. A photo shared by Meghan showed her having afternoon tea with Yousafzai at Claridge’s hotel in central London earlier this week.
The upcoming public event for Meghan and Harry is scheduled to take place in Nottingham on Thursday, where the couple previously made their first joint appearance after announcing their engagement in 2017. Part of the itinerary includes a visit to a community recording studio previously attended by Harry.
