The Mesquite Championship Rodeo is taking place every Saturday through August 29 at the Mesquite Arena in Mesquite, Texas. Known as one of the longest-running rodeos in the country, the event features a variety of traditional rodeo competitions, including bull riding, barrel racing, and bronc busting.

Each rodeo performance begins at 7:30 p.m., offering audiences a lively display of rodeo skills and entertainment. In addition to the sporting events, the Mesquite Championship Rodeo hosts the MCR Summer Concert Series, which presents country music performances following each rodeo. Bleu Edmondson is scheduled to perform on July 25, and David Adam Byrnes will take the stage on August 1.

The season also includes special themed nights designed to enhance the experience for attendees. On July 25, the rodeo will hold “First Responders Night,” honoring those who serve the community, while August 1 will feature “Dollar Hot Dog Night,” offering affordable food options for guests.

Tickets for the rodeo start at $11.65 for individuals aged three and older, with free admission for younger children. The Mesquite Arena continues to serve as a central hub for rodeo enthusiasts and provides a weekend entertainment option for residents and visitors throughout the summer months.
