Michael Sheen will assume hosting duties on the BBC Two quiz show *House of Games* following Richard Osman’s departure after nine years at the helm. Osman is set to present the final week of episodes before Sheen officially takes over next Monday at 6 p.m., beginning a run of 100 episodes.

Known primarily as an actor, Sheen will be making his quiz show hosting debut with the series. In preparation for the new role, he has been seen receiving guidance from Osman, who has been a central figure in the show’s success since its inception.
