The Michelin Guide has announced its 2026 hotel selection for Saudi Arabia, featuring 55 properties across key locations including Riyadh, Jeddah, AlUla, and the Red Sea coast. Among these, 37 hotels received recommendations, while 17 earned the prestigious Michelin Keys—an accolade recognizing exceptional hospitality experiences.

Of the 17 properties awarded Michelin Keys, 13 were granted One Michelin Key, three received Two Michelin Keys, and one distinguished hotel obtained the highest rating of Three Michelin Keys. Desert Rock Resort, situated in the Hijaz Mountains, was the sole recipient of the Three Michelin Key distinction this year. The resort also earned the Michelin Guide Architecture & Design Award for 2026, praised for its design that harmoniously integrates with the surrounding landscape.

Other standout properties awarded Two Michelin Keys include Six Scenes Southern Dunes, The Red Sea, Shebara Resort, and Nujuma, a Ritz-Carlton Reserve. These recognitions come amid Saudi Arabia's ongoing efforts to enhance its luxury hospitality sector, with new resorts and destinations opening throughout the country.

Globally, this release marks the second Michelin Guide hotel selection, with 470 newly distinguished establishments worldwide. Gwendal Poullennec, international director of the Michelin Guide, highlighted the sector’s robust expansion in a statement, noting the surge in innovative and ambitious projects driving the upscaling of hospitality offerings.
