MIDAS Financing PLC held its 30th annual general meeting on Thursday at the MIDAS Convention Centre in Dhanmondi, Dhaka. The meeting was chaired by Ahmed Ataul Hakim, the company’s chairman.

A significant number of shareholders from across Bangladesh participated in the gathering. During the meeting, all agenda items were approved, including the company’s audited financial statements for the year ending December 31, 2025, as well as the accompanying auditors’ and directors’ reports.

Representatives from both the Dhaka Stock Exchange and the Chittagong Stock Exchange attended the AGM, alongside the independent scrutiniser responsible for overseeing the proceedings. Also present were several members of MIDAS Financing’s leadership team, including directors Ramisa Maisha, Nazneen Sultana, and Md Abdul Karim, as well as acting managing director Tanvir Hasan, together with other officers and employees of the company.

The annual meeting provided an opportunity for shareholders and company officials to review the past fiscal year’s performance and governance, reaffirming the company’s commitment to transparency and stakeholder engagement.
