Middlesbrough manager Kim Hellberg remains optimistic about his team's prospects in the Championship despite their recent draw against Cardiff City that cost them the chance to move atop the league standings. Currently third in the table, Middlesbrough shared points in their home fixture following consecutive victories over promotion contenders Wolverhampton Wanderers and Stoke City.

Hellberg acknowledged the disappointment that accompanies dropped points but emphasized the strong start his side has made this season. Speaking ahead of their match against Bolton Wanderers, he noted the team’s ability to generate scoring opportunities as a positive indicator moving forward.

“There’s always disappointment and frustration; you want to win every game, and in the moment there can always be frustration when you don’t win,” Hellberg said. “But we’ve started the season absolutely brilliantly. We create a lot of chances.”

Middlesbrough will be looking to address the shortcomings exhibited in their recent draw as they aim to regain the top spot in the Championship during their upcoming fixture.
