KUWAIT — Dr. Amthal Al-Huwailah, Minister of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs, conducted an inspection tour of the Community Development Center in Yarmouk on Monday to evaluate its operations and service delivery. The center operates under the Department of Women, Childhood and Community Development within the ministry.
During the visit, the minister reviewed the center’s facilities, including event halls and work procedures, and assessed the available equipment. She also identified key challenges affecting the center’s operations. Following the inspection, Al-Huwailah directed immediate action to address the observations made and emphasized the need to provide necessary resources to improve both operational efficiency and the quality of services offered to beneficiaries.
Al-Huwailah underscored the importance of maintaining high standards across community development centers, emphasizing their critical role in providing social and community services to citizens. She highlighted that such field visits are integral to the ministry’s ongoing efforts to monitor the preparedness of community development centers, pinpoint areas requiring improvement, and support the enhancement of their service delivery.
The minister stated that these measures align with the broader objectives of the Ministry of Social Affairs, Family and Childhood Affairs to upgrade social service infrastructure and elevate the overall quality and effectiveness of public services.
