The Minister of Education and Higher Education, HE Lolwah Al Khater, has officially approved the first-round results of the General Secondary Certificate examinations for the 2025–2026 academic year. The announcement was made during a meeting held at the ministry’s headquarters in Doha, which included senior officials and education leaders.

In her remarks, Minister Al Khater congratulated the students who successfully passed the exams, acknowledging the sustained effort and dedication that contributed to their achievements. She also recognized the vital roles played by teachers, school administrators, and families in supporting students throughout the academic year.

Pass rates varied across different educational tracks and study formats. The daytime scientific track recorded the highest overall success rate at 90.10%, while the adult education segment of the scientific track had a pass rate of 37.93%. The humanities track saw a pass rate of 82.24% in daytime study and 52.10% in adult education. Meanwhile, the technological track reported an 80.14% pass rate.

Several schools demonstrated particularly strong results. Qatar Science and Technology Secondary School for Boys achieved a full 100% pass rate. The Religious Institute Preparatory and Secondary School for Boys followed closely with a 97.87% success rate. Qatar Technical Secondary School recorded pass rates of 89.24% in daytime studies and 83.72% in adult education.

The Ministry of Education and Higher Education continues to emphasize the importance of comprehensive support systems and quality instruction as key factors in student success. This year’s results provide a benchmark for ongoing educational development in Qatar.
