Qatar's Minister of State for Foreign Affairs, Dr. Mohammed bin Abdulaziz bin Saleh Al Khulaifi, conducted separate phone conversations on Wednesday with the foreign ministers of Guatemala and Belize to discuss bilateral relations and regional developments.
In the first call, Dr. Al Khulaifi spoke with Carlos Ramiro Martinez Alvarado, Guatemala’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. The two officials reviewed their countries’ diplomatic ties and explored opportunities to enhance cooperation. They also exchanged views on recent developments in Latin America, emphasizing the need to support international diplomatic efforts aimed at fostering peace and stability in the region.
Later the same day, Dr. Al Khulaifi held talks with Francis Fonseca, Belize’s Minister of Foreign Affairs. Their discussion similarly focused on strengthening bilateral cooperation and addressing a range of issues relevant to both nations. During the exchange, Minister Fonseca acknowledged Qatar’s role in conflict mediation and its contributions toward peaceful resolutions in various global contexts.
