KUWAIT — The Ministry of Interior reaffirmed its dedication to advancing digital transformation and enhancing service efficiency during an inspection visit to key service centers on Tuesday. Major General Abdulwahab Al-Wuhaib, the Ministry’s Undersecretary, emphasized ongoing efforts to modernize electronic systems and improve institutional performance to expedite transaction processing and elevate service quality for both citizens and residents.
The inspection covered the Nationality and Residence Affairs sector, including the Citizens Service Center in Al-Ardhiya and the Residence Affairs Department in Hawally Governorate. The visit aimed to evaluate workflow effectiveness and assess the quality of services delivered to the public.
During the tour, Major General Al-Wuhaib highlighted the importance of continually raising performance standards, addressing challenges encountered by applicants, and maintaining strict compliance with regulations and procedures. He underscored these measures as essential to achieving accuracy and efficiency in completing transactions.
Al-Wuhaib also extended the greetings and appreciation of First Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Sheikh Fahad Yousef Saud Al-Sabah to the ministry's staff, commending their efforts and dedication. He received briefings on the operational mechanisms and electronic systems employed within the sector, noting their critical role in streamlining internal procedures and improving service delivery.
The Undersecretary called for sustained teamwork, professionalism, and discipline while inspecting service reception and transaction processing areas. He reviewed the preparedness of both technical and administrative personnel, ensuring adherence to established operational policies and standards across service facilities.
Brigadier Fawaz Al-Roumi, Head of the Nationality and Residence Affairs Sector, expressed gratitude for Major General Al-Wuhaib’s ongoing support and follow-up. He praised the Undersecretary’s commitment to elevating sector performance and upgrading service quality, affirming the ministry's continued focus on delivering efficient and reliable services to the public.
