The Ministry of Islamic Affairs in Kuwait announced the completion of distributing and activating 8,000 “Nusk” cards to Kuwaiti Hajj campaigns on May 17. This initiative is part of a collaborative effort involving the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah in Saudi Arabia and the service provider team assigned to assist Kuwaiti pilgrims.
The “Nusk” cards, which contain essential information about Hajj rituals, are designed to facilitate a safe and efficient pilgrimage experience during the 1447 AH Hajj season. By providing these cards, the ministry aims to help pilgrims perform their religious obligations with clarity and ease while reducing potential logistical challenges.
In a statement shared on its official social media account, the Ministry of Islamic Affairs highlighted that this distribution effort aligns with ongoing coordination between Kuwaiti and Saudi authorities to support the welfare and organization of Kuwaiti pilgrims. The ministry emphasized the importance of leveraging technology and international cooperation to enhance the overall Hajj experience.
The deployment of the “Nusk” cards reflects broader efforts to improve pilgrim services amid increasing numbers of participants traveling from Kuwait. The cards serve as a guide to ritual practices, assisting pilgrims in adhering to the prescribed religious rites in a structured manner.
This measure coincides with other logistical and administrative steps taken by both Kuwaiti and Saudi governmental bodies to ensure the smooth conduct of the Hajj season, traditionally one of the largest annual religious gatherings worldwide. The collaboration underscores the commitment of regional stakeholders to uphold safety, health, and efficient crowd management during the pilgrimage events.
