KUWAIT CITY – The Ministry of Justice has initiated a series of consultations with legal experts aimed at enhancing judicial processes and the quality of expert contributions within the justice system. The effort, launched under the guidance of Minister of Justice Judge Nasser Al-Sumait, is part of the ‘Partners in Work and Success’ initiative designed to foster direct communication between the ministry and its experts.

Dr. Fawaz Boudi, Head of the General Department of Experts at the Ministry, led two extensive meetings held in early June to gather input from experts across various governorates. The first session on June 3 convened experts from the Capital and Farwaniya governorates. The following day, a meeting took place at the Al-Ruqai Building with participants representing Mubarak Al-Kabeer, Hawally, and Jahra governorates. Additional sessions are scheduled to engage remaining experts at the Mahboula and Jahra Courts Building.

During these meetings, attendees examined a range of topics relating to the advancement of the expert system. Key areas of focus included the digital transformation and modernization of procedures, improving the accuracy and quality of technical reports, expanding the role of specialized experts, and enhancing coordination with other government agencies involved in judicial processes.

Organizational issues were also addressed, such as the implementation of a questionnaire for litigants to assess service levels, the development of expert rotation mechanisms, and adjustments to the fingerprint attendance system to better suit the nature of expert work. Participants also proposed measures to improve working conditions and support services for experts.

At the conclusion of the meetings, Dr. Boudi emphasized that all feedback received would be carefully reviewed and incorporated into the department’s developmental plans. He commended the experts’ active participation and dedication, highlighting that these efforts are expected to contribute significantly to refining work procedures and boosting the overall efficiency of the expert system.

The ministry anticipates that these initiatives will enhance service quality for litigants and strengthen the judicial framework by leveraging expert input in a more structured and effective manner.
