The Ministry of Transport, Communications and Information Technology (MoTCIT) hosted an event titled “Bridges of Integration and Knowledge Transfer” in Al Sharqiyah North Governorate, aiming to promote collaboration and knowledge sharing among government entities across Oman. The initiative seeks to enhance institutional integration and improve the overall performance of government services.
The event took place in the presence of Mahmoud bin Yahya al Thuhli, Governor of Al Sharqiyah North, and brought together representatives from various government departments. It featured a detailed presentation of the ministry’s strategic plan, highlighting areas of institutional excellence and notable achievements within the transport and logistics sector. Participants were also briefed on the objectives of the National Programme for Digital Economy, which aims to advance the country’s digital infrastructure and services.
An interactive panel discussion formed a central part of the initiative, addressing the aspirations and challenges faced by different government agencies. The panel exchanged ideas on how to strengthen coordination between departments and improve the transfer of expertise and best practices. The dialogue focused on creating synergies across sectors to drive more efficient and effective government operations.
This initiative reflects a broader effort by Oman’s government to foster cooperation among its various units to support sustainable development and service delivery. By encouraging the exchange of knowledge and experiences, MoTCIT aims to build integrated institutional frameworks that can respond better to the evolving needs of the public and contribute to the country’s economic growth.
