Myanmar club MIU and Indonesia’s Black Steel Papua have secured their places in the final of the International Futsal Cup 2026 following victories in the semifinals held on September 10 at the MFF Futsal Arena in Yangon.

In the first semifinal, Black Steel Papua maintained an unbeaten run by defeating Myanmar’s YRG 4-1. The Indonesian side’s strong performance ensured their progression to the final where they will aim to claim the title with an unblemished record.

The second semifinal featured a closely contested match between MIU and YCDC Dream Team, also from Myanmar. MIU twice took the lead during regular time, but YCDC responded to level the score at 2-2. The match was ultimately decided by a penalty shootout, with MIU prevailing 4-1 to advance.
