The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) in Qatar will commemorate World Teachers’ Day under the patronage of HE the Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim al-Thani. The event, scheduled for tomorrow, will be held under the theme "Giving That Bears Fruit for Generations."

During the ceremony, 80 teachers from government schools will be recognized for their exceptional contributions to the education sector. The occasion aims to honor their role in advancing educational processes, enhancing students’ abilities and skills, and instilling core values and principles necessary for character development and future readiness.

In addition to the awards, the celebration will include an exhibition featuring distinguished educational projects and applied research developed by both students and teachers. This exhibition is designed to underscore the importance of educators in fostering students’ research capabilities, critical thinking, and innovative skills. It will also highlight how teachers utilize knowledge and modern technologies to improve teaching methods and learning outcomes.

The event reflects MoEHE’s ongoing commitment to acknowledging the efforts of educators and emphasizing their essential role in shaping future generations. It also aims to raise public awareness regarding the significance of teachers’ educational mission. This commitment aligns with Qatar’s National Vision 2030, which prioritizes education and human capacity development as key components of national progress.
