Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice-President and Prime Minister of the United Arab Emirates and Ruler of Dubai, has approved the promotion of 6,526 personnel across several of Dubai’s security agencies. The advancement recognizes their dedication, ongoing service, and efforts in maintaining public safety and security within the emirate.
The promotions encompass staff from the Dubai State Security Department, Dubai Police, the General Directorate of Identity and Foreigners Affairs – Dubai, and the Dubai Civil Defence Authority. These agencies play key roles in safeguarding the city and supporting the government’s broader security objectives.
In a separate decision, Sheikh Mohammed elevated Major General Tamim Al Muhairi, the Director General of the Dubai State Security Department, to the rank of lieutenant general. This promotion acknowledges his contributions to enhancing Dubai’s security infrastructure, promoting stability, and advancing institutional excellence within the emirate’s security framework.
These personnel advancements reflect ongoing efforts to strengthen Dubai’s security capabilities amid its rapid urban and economic development.
