Moneyfields advanced past Steyning Town following a penalty shootout on Friday evening. The match saw Moneyfields controlling much of the first half but failing to convert their dominance into goals. Early in the second half, Adam Payce scored to put Moneyfields ahead, firing past Steyning goalkeeper Alfie Mansell.

Steyning responded strongly after conceding, improving their play and earning a penalty when Harvey Woollard was fouled inside the box. Substitute Alex Brewer successfully converted the spot-kick, leveling the score. Despite being reduced to ten men later in the game, Moneyfields maintained defensive resilience, and both sides created limited chances through to full time.

The outcome was decided in a penalty shootout. Moneyfields goalkeeper Malachi Osei-Owusu played a pivotal role by saving Brewer’s penalty. Jared Rance’s effort struck the bar, compounding Steyning’s difficulties in the shootout. After three successful penalties from Moneyfields, Harrison Brooks found the net to secure victory and progression for Moneyfields.
