RAK Properties has announced plans to expand its hospitality and dining offerings at the Mina destination in Ras Al Khaimah by opening three new restaurants and cafes in the final quarter of this year. The initiative is part of the company’s broader strategy to develop Mina into a comprehensive waterfront destination that integrates residential, tourism, and commercial projects.

The expansion aims to enhance the appeal of Ras Al Khaimah for both investors and visitors by strengthening Mina’s position as a lifestyle and culinary hub. Sameh Muhtadi, Chief Executive Officer of RAK Properties, emphasized that the company envisions Mina as more than just a location for homes and hospitality venues. He described the project as a fully integrated and vibrant destination designed to offer a high quality of life for residents while attracting visitors.

Muhtadi highlighted RAK Properties’ approach to selecting food and beverage (F&B) partners, noting the importance of integrating brands that add value to the social infrastructure of the community. This selection process is intended to support Ras Al Khaimah’s growing reputation as an attractive place to live, visit, and dine.

Currently, Mina hosts two established resorts, including the 351-key InterContinental Ras Al Khaimah Mina Resort and Spa located on Hayat Island, which already provides a range of dining options for residents and guests. The addition of new dining venues seeks to complement these existing facilities and further diversify the culinary experience available within the destination.

By broadening the range of hospitality options, RAK Properties aims to reinforce Mina’s status as a key destination in the emirate, supporting both lifestyle improvements and tourism development in the region.
