More than 70 international partners have confirmed their participation in the fourth edition of Web Summit Qatar, highlighting the event’s expanding global reach and its significance in promoting innovation, entrepreneurship, and economic diversification within the country. The summit is scheduled to take place at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center from January 31 to February 3, 2027.
Preparations for the upcoming summit were discussed at a meeting of the Permanent Web Summit Organising Committee held in Doha. The session was led by HE Sheikh Jassim bin Mansour bin Jabor Al Thani, Director of the Government Communications Office and Chairman of the committee. Attendees included representatives from several Qatari government bodies and strategic partners, such as the Ministry of Interior, Ministry of Communications and Information Technology, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Qatar Investment Authority, Invest Qatar, Qatar Tourism, and Qatar Airways, alongside members of the Web Summit team.
The 2027 event aims to foster collaboration and showcase advancements in technology and business, with trade delegations confirmed from countries including the Netherlands, Germany, France, Pakistan, Bahrain, Italy, Turkiye, and Palestine. The participation of diverse international stakeholders underscores Qatar’s ongoing commitment to establishing itself as a regional hub for technology and innovation.
Web Summit Qatar has quickly developed into a key platform for connecting global innovators and investors, supporting Qatar’s strategic goals related to economic transformation and diversification away from fossil fuels.
