Morocco’s Authenticity and Modernity Party (PAM) emerged as the leading party in the country's recent parliamentary elections, securing 97 out of 395 seats in the House of Representatives. The Interior Ministry released the final results on Friday, confirming the party's position at the top of the electoral outcome.

Despite winning the largest number of seats, PAM fell short of obtaining an absolute majority, necessitating negotiations with other political groups to establish a governing coalition. The party, known by its French acronym PAM, was founded by a royal adviser closely linked to King Mohammed VI.

The election took place amid growing public discontent, particularly among young Moroccans facing high unemployment rates and challenges such as inadequate education, healthcare, and housing services. This vote marked the first legislative election since several significant events that have influenced public sentiment, including the deadly mass migration attempts toward the Spanish enclave of Ceuta in July and widespread protests led by Generation Z last year.
