A mother from Shipley, Bradford, is seeking to raise £14,000 to purchase a bionic arm for her seven-year-old daughter, who was born without a right hand and part of her forearm. Kirsten Faulkner said that while her daughter, Beaux, has not been significantly affected by the condition until now, she has recently expressed a desire to “look like her friends.”

Beaux Faulkner has demonstrated determination and resilience despite her physical challenges. Her mother described her mindset as one of perseverance, saying Beaux is committed to doing her best in every situation. However, the family believes that the bionic arm would help support her confidence and daily activities.

The fundraising campaign is being conducted through a crowdfunding platform, with donations sought to cover the cost of the prosthetic device. The family hopes that the new arm will enhance Beaux’s quality of life and social integration.
