Marks & Spencer has launched a new premium menswear collection in collaboration with the Atlassian Williams Formula One Team, combining elements of high-performance sportswear and contemporary fashion. The collection, named Autograph Performance, aims to blend the discipline and precision of Formula One with everyday style, offering clothing designed for versatility across work, travel, and leisure.
The range includes lightweight outerwear such as parkas and ripstop jackets, along with smart accessories and footwear, all crafted with technical, crease-resistant fabrics and tailored detailing. According to Mitch Hughes, M&S Menswear Director, the partnership brings together two established British brands that prioritize quality, innovation, and attention to detail.
“Formula One is built on precision, performance and attention to detail, and those same principles sit at the heart of how we create our clothing,” Hughes said. The collection is intended to embody confidence, reliability, and lasting performance, reflecting both brands’ commitment to excellence. M&S described the wardrobe as a “team travel-kit meets contemporary everyday” offering geared to meet the demands of modern life while maintaining style and function.
The collaboration also reflects a period of renewed momentum for both M&S and the Williams Formula One Team. Founded in 1977 by racing driver and team owner Frank Williams, the team remains one of Formula One’s most historic and decorated outfits. Under the leadership of current team principal James Vowels, Williams is aiming to return to competitive form, featuring drivers Carlos Sainz and Alex Albon.
Hughes highlighted the shared values between the clothing retailer and the racing team. “What makes this partnership so exciting is our shared focus on helping people perform at their best. Whether on the track or in everyday life, it’s about confidence, reliability and quality in every detail.” Williams drivers have been seen wearing the collection during the current season, marking a visible endorsement of the collaboration.
The Autograph Performance range is now available both online and in Marks & Spencer stores, offering items such as knitted T-shirts, Harrington jackets, trousers, and trainers, with prices ranging from approximately £35 to £110. This partnership represents a fusion of British heritage brands seeking to engage customers at the intersection of sport and style on a global platform.
