The Ministry of Social Development and Family (MSDF) in Qatar has released new guidelines aimed at supporting productive families and enhancing the sustainability of national productive enterprises. The guidelines outline registration procedures, available services, and opportunities for families and owners of productive ventures, as well as the associated rights and obligations.

As part of broader efforts to promote economic and social empowerment, the MSDF’s guide establishes a regulatory framework beginning with registration in the National Productive Projects System, known as “From the Homeland.” This registration provides families with a reference number in a unified national database, serving as a gateway to various benefits.

Registered productive families gain access to training and professional development programs designed to help improve and expand their business activities. Additionally, the guidelines include provisions for marketing support, encouraging participation in exhibitions and designated sales outlets to increase visibility and commercial reach. Families registered under this system are also eligible to compete for the Productive Families Incentive Award, which recognizes outstanding contributions to Qatar's productive economy.

Buthaina Al Obaidly, Director of the Family Empowerment Department, emphasized that the guide is intended to create a streamlined, integrated framework for delivering services to productive families. She noted that this approach simplifies access to resources and opportunities that contribute to the growth and sustainability of family-run enterprises.

The MSDF’s initiative reflects Qatar’s ongoing commitment to fostering national economic development through social empowerment, combining support for entrepreneurship with structured regulatory oversight to benefit productive families across the country.
