An American-born former model and current actress has recounted a yearlong experience with what she describes as a haunting in her six-bedroom West London home, a large Grade II-listed Victorian building with a rich history as a nightclub and working men’s club. The incident began in 2013 shortly after she and her husband, Ty, had twin sons.

The family had recently completed an extensive renovation to convert the building into a residential property. Soon after moving in, the couple observed what appeared to be a female figure on their baby monitor standing over their sleeping children. The figure was described as slender, dressed in a long black gown with a veiled face, appearing only in the boys’ nursery. Although the couple found no intruder upon investigation and no signs of forced entry, they were convinced of the presence they had seen on the monitor.

Following the initial sighting, unusual occurrences persisted, concentrated mainly in the children’s bedroom and an adjacent guest room. These included sudden temperature drops localized to certain parts of the rooms, despite functioning underfloor heating systems, unexplained noises such as doors slamming, and furniture being found open when previously closed. The children remained unaffected, sleeping soundly and showing no signs of distress.

Further incidents intensified the family’s discomfort, including a babysitter who reportedly became frightened by an unseen presence in the house and refused to return. The mother began sleeping in her sons’ room for their safety, citing a belief that the entity was focused specifically on the children.

Despite her husband’s more pragmatic approach, the woman, who identifies as spiritual and has previously had psychic experiences, sought the assistance of paranormal investigators and a rabbi. Each specialist confirmed an active presence but their interventions did not resolve the disturbances. Ultimately, after nearly a year, the woman said she directly confronted the entity, asking it to leave, which she contends resulted in an immediate cessation of the phenomena.

The family has since placed the London property on the market, though the decision is said not to be connected to the reported haunting. They now primarily reside in Ibiza, where the children attend school and the atmosphere is described as more relaxed and safe.

Professionally, the woman has shifted her focus toward producing and starring in Christmas-themed films through her company JJLove Productions, moving away from themes of spookiness that she once enjoyed in her youth. Reflecting on the episode, she maintains that the experience was genuine and distressing, stressing the real impact it had during a vulnerable period of new parenthood.
