The ceremony included formal proceedings such as saluting the national flag and honoring fallen leaders and members of the Tatmadaw, Myanmar’s armed forces, during an oath-taking segment. Rear-Admiral Tet Lwin Tun delivered an address recognizing the milestone and reflecting on the Coast Guard’s service since its establishment.

In the afternoon, an awards ceremony took place at the Myanmar Coast Guard Command Headquarters’ Recreation Centre.
