Namaa Charity, an organization affiliated with the Social Reform Society, has inaugurated a comprehensive Islamic center in Dodoma, Tanzania, designed to serve over 250 beneficiaries. The center, covering an area of 200 square meters, aims to address local needs by providing integrated educational and religious facilities.
According to Khaled Al-Shamari, Head of the Development and Relief Sector at Namaa Charity, the project responds directly to demands in Dodoma for a facility that combines worship and learning under one roof. The new center includes a mosque with seating capacity for approximately 170 worshippers. Additionally, it offers classrooms capable of accommodating 80 male and female students who will study the Holy Quran and various Islamic sciences.
The establishment also incorporates a range of integrated services that create a conducive environment for both spiritual practice and educational activities. Al-Shamari emphasized that the center is part of ongoing initiatives by Namaa Charity aimed at supporting disadvantaged communities and enhancing the role of educational and religious institutions in fostering human development.
Namaa Charity continues to implement similar development projects across Africa, focusing on improving living conditions and promoting social stability in vulnerable areas. The opening of the Dodoma center marks a significant step in these efforts, underlining the organization’s commitment to contributing to sustainable socioeconomic progress through education and faith-based support.
