Lieutenant General Hamad Al-Barjas, Undersecretary of the National Guard, emphasized the importance of cooperation, expertise exchange, and leveraging military and academic knowledge to enhance the capabilities and performance of National Guard personnel. He made these remarks during a meeting with a delegation from the Riwaq Center for Political and Strategic Consultations at the National Guard Headquarters in Kuwait.

The meeting, held on Wednesday, was also attended by Brigadier General Abdullah Saleh, Commander of Military and Security Affairs. The visiting delegation included retired Lieutenant Generals Mohammed Al-Khader, former Chief of the General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army, and Mohammed Al-Kandari, former Assistant Chief of Army Operations, as well as Professor of Political Science Dr. Istiqlal Al-Azmi.

During their visit, the delegation took part in a panel discussion organized by the Leadership Development Center at the National Guard Training Institute. The session focused on regional conditions and developments with the objective of deepening understanding of the shifting political and security landscape in the region. The discussion sought to draw on specialized expertise to better inform strategic awareness and decision-making within the National Guard.
