To celebrate National Tequila Day on Friday, July 24, numerous restaurants and bars across the Dallas-Fort Worth area are offering special deals, unique cocktails, and events centered around tequila, the iconic Mexican spirit. Some venues are extending festivities through the weekend or featuring limited-time menus to mark the occasion.
Assembly Icehouse in Plano will feature $3 House Margaritas throughout the day. Nearby, Burger Schmurger in Dallas is offering its Schmargarita cocktail at a discounted price of $7, down from $11, alongside its Mac N Cheeseburger special available until the end of July.
In Frisco, Dee’s Table plans to sell soft-serve margaritas for $12, reduced from their regular $15 price, while Revel Patio Grill is discounting various tequila drinks, including Mi Campo House Margaritas, frozen margaritas, and tequila shots for $5 each.
Downtown Dallas venues also join the celebration. Evelyn will present three tequila-based cocktails, including a Mexican Martini and a spicy habanero-infused La Reyna. Ser Steak + Spirits, located on the 27th floor of the Hilton Anatole, is offering a $39 Margarita Flight composed of three distinctive tequila blends infused with ingredients like activated charcoal, Aperol, and pineapple juice. Meanwhile, Tequila Social is combining National Tequila Day with its third anniversary, providing $9 La Pulga margaritas during an extended happy hour and live music performances.
Legacy West in Plano will hold a multi-day event spanning July 24 to 26. Legacy Hall will offer a Casamigos Margarita Flight and host a tequila-themed spelling bee with prizes. Participating restaurants at Legacy West will also promote tequila drinks, including Darna Mediterranean Eatery’s Spicy Moroccan Marg and Earls’ premium Premier ’42 Margarita featuring Don Julio 1942 Añejo Tequila.
Several restaurant groups and chains are participating with special offerings. Lombardi Family Concepts’ nine establishments will serve a limited-time LFC Skinny Margarita made with Socorro Tequila. Mi Cocina and Razzoo’s Cajun Cafe will feature their standard margarita selections complemented by Tex-Mex and Cajun-inspired dishes. Twin Peaks locations are providing reduced prices on a variety of tequila cocktails, including the Peaks Margarita and Tequila Sunrise.
The Mexican restaurant is extending National Tequila Day into a weekend event, offering multiple tasting flights priced between $20 and $50, which showcase a range of tequilas from blanco to extra añejo. The restaurant will also feature special margaritas, premium tequilas, and live music throughout the weekend.
At The Village Dallas, five venues including Over Under and Meridian are selling tequila drinks at half price for July 24. Classic margaritas and house tequila cocktails are part of the promotion.
In a product launch tied to the celebration, Winsome Prime is introducing its exclusive Winsome Prime Estate añejo tequila, created in collaboration with Patrón. The tequila, aged two years in French oak barrels, will be available at Winsome Prime locations starting July 24 and can be enjoyed in cocktails or neat.
These events and specials across the Dallas-Fort Worth area offer tequila enthusiasts a variety of options to observe National Tequila Day, celebrating tequila’s cultural significance and diverse flavor profiles.
