Naturists in Scotland will have the opportunity to participate in a naked crazy golf event later this month at the Adventure Golf Island complex in Dunfermline, Fife. Scheduled for August 29, the event invites participants to play the course without clothing, with tickets priced at £15 each.

Organized by British Naturism, the venue offers both an outdoor course and an indoor course housed beneath a floodlit dome. The indoor setting is designed to provide shelter from adverse weather conditions common in Scotland, including strong winds and midges. The course features an array of themed obstacles and decorations, including waterfalls, fountains, palm trees, tiki huts, a pirate ship, and a castle, all set amid water features that the organizers compare to those found at St Andrews.

This event follows recent naturist activities highlighted in the UK, such as naked beekeeping sessions held during Nudefest in Somerset. Surveys indicate that nudism is increasingly accepted among older adults, with nine out of 10 individuals over the age of 62 expressing comfort with being nude on nudist beaches, while only 8% report feeling too shy to participate.

The Dunfermline event represents a niche recreational option for naturists seeking social and outdoor activities in a controlled environment that mitigates typical outdoor nuisances. British Naturism continues to promote such gatherings to foster community engagement and break down social stigmas related to communal nudity.
