The National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) announced five winners in its latest Al-Jawhara and Al-Jawhara Junior prize draws during an event held on September 9 in Kuwait City. The draws, conducted under the independent supervision of Deloitte and Grant Thornton, were broadcast live on NBK’s social media channels to ensure transparency and customer engagement.

Among the winners, Tagreed Rashed Mohammad Alduraiei claimed the Al-Jawhara grand prize of KD 1,000,000, becoming the third millionaire of 2026 through the program. The Al-Jawhara Junior grand prize of KD 10,000 was awarded to Omar Naser Mohammad Alhuraiji in the weekly draw. In addition, three other participants—Hussain Ali Khudhur Alfares, Abdullah Falah Hamdan Al-Mutairi, and Ali Mahmoud Mosayeb Aziz—each received a weekly cash prize of KD 20,000.

Hisham Al-Nusif, Chief of Consumer Banking at NBK, highlighted the success of the Al-Jawhara program in fostering a strong connection with customers by blending smart saving options with attractive cash prizes. He emphasized that the initiative not only offers substantial financial rewards but also supports customers in meeting their saving goals, while maintaining rigorous transparency and credibility throughout the draw process.

Since its inception, Al-Jawhara has positioned itself as Kuwait’s largest banking prize draw program, awarding a total of KD 5 million annually. The program includes weekly and monthly draws alongside three annual grand prize draws of KD 1 million each. The complementary Al-Jawhara Junior draws provide additional opportunities for younger customers to win cash prizes, contributing to the program’s broad appeal.

Al-Nusif noted that the continued popularity of Al-Jawhara reflects growing customer trust in NBK’s financial products and services. He described the program as promoting a culture of saving and delivering an integrated banking experience that extends beyond conventional savings accounts.
