The National Bank of Oman (NBO) marked Omani Women’s Day with a special event aimed at celebrating the achievements of Omani women and highlighting the contributions of its female employees. The celebration, held at the bank’s headquarters in Muscat, was officially opened by Amal Suhail Bahwan al Mukhaini, Chairperson of NBO, who emphasized the institution’s ongoing commitment to supporting and recognizing the role of women in the workplace.

The event provided an opportunity for female colleagues to connect and engage in a supportive environment, reflecting NBO’s goal of fostering inclusivity and encouraging professional growth among its staff. As part of the occasion, the bank organized a marketplace showcasing small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) led by Omani women entrepreneurs. This platform enabled local business owners to present their products and creativity, reinforcing NBO’s efforts to promote women’s entrepreneurship and their importance to the national economy.

In addition to the marketplace, employees took part in interactive activities designed to boost creativity and strengthen team bonds, creating a lively and collaborative atmosphere throughout the event.

This celebration is part of wider initiatives by NBO to empower Omani talent, support local businesses, and cultivate an inclusive workplace culture. By bringing together employees and the community, the bank aims to acknowledge the vital contributions of individuals who contribute to Oman’s ongoing development and future success.
