BLACKPINK member Jennie will contribute a new song to Netflix’s upcoming animated film "Steps," marking her first musical involvement with an animated feature. The track, titled "Someone to Hold," is featured in the film’s recently released main trailer and will be included on the official soundtrack, which is set for release alongside the movie on November 20.

The soundtrack comprises four original songs written and produced by songwriter Justin Tranter, as well as a score composed by Kris Bowers, an Oscar-winning musician. Jennie expressed enthusiasm about joining the project, highlighting the emotional depth and personality of the film’s characters. She said she enjoyed creating her first song for an animated movie and looks forward to audiences experiencing both the film and the soundtrack.
