Al Qaim Restaurant has opened a new branch in Al Matar Al Qadeem, expanding its presence beyond its original location in Al Meshaf, Al Wakra. The launch aims to serve the area’s substantial South Asian community and others seeking authentic Pakistani and Indian cuisine.

The grand opening ceremony, held recently, featured a ribbon-cutting led by Mohsin Raza Qureshi, Community Welfare Attaché at the Pakistan Embassy, alongside members of Qatar’s Pakistani community. The event included a celebratory dinner showcasing signature dishes such as Chicken Biryani, slow-cooked Nihari, Mutton Kebabs, and Chicken Tikka.

Entrepreneur Sardar Hassan Raza, the founder behind Al Qaim, explained that the decision to open the new branch was driven by increasing customer demand and the growing popularity of the brand. He emphasized the restaurant’s commitment to providing genuine South Asian flavors at affordable prices, paired with a focus on high standards of hospitality and service. The new location was selected strategically to better serve residents in Al Matar Al Qadeem.

Operating 24 hours a day, the branch caters to night-shift workers, late-night diners, and those seeking convenient round-the-clock options. Its menu spans a diverse range of curries, barbecue items, and rice specialties, crafted by experienced chefs who maintain traditional preparation methods. Meals are accompanied by freshly baked naan and roti, and the restaurant also serves a traditional Pakistani breakfast including halwa, puri, and channa.

In addition to dine-in services, Al Qaim offers outdoor catering options designed for family occasions, social events, and corporate functions. The expansion positions the restaurant as a notable player in Al Matar Al Qadeem’s dining scene, combining authenticity, affordability, and 24/7 service to meet the needs of a diverse clientele in Qatar’s competitive food market.
