A new Arabic language book aimed at enhancing communication between expatriates and nationals in Qatar was officially launched at an event held at Radio Suno Studio. The book, titled *Spoken Arabic for All – Arabic for Every Day*, was authored by Dr. Amanulla Vadakkangara, an experienced expatriate educator and author.

The launch ceremony brought together notable figures from Qatar’s media, cultural, business, and community sectors. Senior journalist Satyendra Pathak from Qatar Tribune formally introduced the book, emphasizing the importance of Arabic proficiency in bridging cultural gaps. Pathak noted that learning Arabic enables expatriates not only to engage in everyday communication but also to develop a deeper understanding of Qatar’s cultural identity, values, and traditions.

PN Baburajan, Advisory Board Chairman of the Indian Cultural Centre, received the first copy and highlighted the need for accessible and simplified Arabic learning materials. He suggested that such resources could encourage more expatriates to pursue Arabic language acquisition, helping to dispel the common perception that Arabic is difficult to master.

Shaheen Muhammed Shafi, President of Kerala Business Forum, echoed this sentiment, pointing out that even a basic command of Arabic significantly improves interactions in social, professional, and commercial settings. Ammer Ali, Managing Director of Olive Suno Network, who chaired the event, congratulated Dr. Vadakkangara for making spoken Arabic more approachable for non-native speakers.

The program was conducted by RJ Ashtami, with the participation of RJ Appunni, Programme Head of Radio Suno. Additional speakers included Captain Deepak Mahajan, pilot and endurance runner; Dr. Sheela Philip, Managing Director of Doha Beauty Centre; Jeby K John, Managing Director of Qatar Tec; R Chandra Mohan, President of Pravasi Welfare; Uwais Usman, CEO of The Way Corporate Services; and Muhammed Noushad Abu, Managing Director of New Good Will Cargo.

Panelists underlined that learning Arabic extends beyond language acquisition, serving as a gateway for expatriates to engage more meaningfully with Qatari culture, traditions, and social values. The book offers a practical, straightforward approach focused on conversational Arabic used in everyday situations, aiming to equip students, professionals, and businesspeople with the confidence needed for effective communication.

Published by Kerala-based Edumartplus, *Spoken Arabic for All – Arabic for Every Day* has also received recommendations from several universities for use in communicative language courses, reflecting its growing acceptance as a valuable educational resource for learners in Qatar and the wider Gulf region.
