A new international sleeper train service connecting key cities in Europe and Scandinavia is set to launch in April 2028, according to a joint venture between European Sleeper and the German railway operator RDC. The route will link Brussels and Amsterdam with Copenhagen and Malmö, offering travelers an overnight option with various accommodation types.

The train will feature a combination of regular seating, couchettes—seats that convert into bunk beds—and private sleeper compartments to cater to different passenger preferences. While specific scheduling details have yet to be finalized, preliminary plans indicate that trains will depart from Brussels and Malmö at approximately 7 p.m., with arrivals around 10 a.m. the following day.

This service is expected to simplify travel between London and Scandinavia for British passengers, requiring only one change in Brussels. By providing an alternative to air travel, the sleeper train aims to enhance sustainable transportation options within the region.
